Baked Chili with Cornmeal Crust


First big snowfall of the year and tonight's meal sounded perfect for just such a chilly night. Well, great idea, mediocre taste. I think you should take your fave chili recipe and top it with this cornmeal crust and that will be a win win situation. To me it is just not chili without beans and there wasn't much spice to it either, but I want to desperately make my own chili and top it with this cornmeal crust. On a plus note, my son gobbled it up due to the blandish nature of the flavour - so I guess the good news is it is a very kid-friendly chili recipe.(Mine tends to be too spicy)
